The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Fiduciary Program protects Veterans and beneficiaries who are unable to manage their financial affairs due to injury, age, or disease by appointing a fiduciary. The fiduciary is responsible for managing the beneficiary’s finances and VA benefit payments.
This webinar will provide an understanding of the program processes, the rights and responsibilities of the beneficiaries and fiduciaries, respectively, and an overview of how to protect VA funds. Our goal is to educate Veterans, their family members and caregivers as well as individuals who would play an integral role in this process, including financial planners, advisors and Veteran counselors, about this program.
The webinar will be held on Friday, February 28 from 12:30-2:00 PM PST and again at 4:30-6:00 PM EST. The hour long presentation will be followed by a thirty minute question and answer session for participants.
