You are invited to participate in a research study evaluating the effects of a new in home technology system for dementia caregivers. The study is being conducted by Dr. Robert Levenson
(University of California, Berkeley, Department of Psychology) and Mr. Gene Wang (People Power).
What will happen? The research is conducted in your home. We will send our research team to your home and install sensors and other devices (Google Home Mini and iPad) for you to use for 9
months. You will be asked to complete a set of questionnaires (approximately one hour in length) before the installation and then every 3 months after. You will not be recorded via video or audio.
Compensation:You will be paid $175 at the end of the study if you participate for the full 9 months and complete all of the questionnaires. Partial payment will be provided if you only complete part of the study.
To participate: You must be a spousal or familial caregiver currently living at home with a person with dementia. Caregivers must be fluent/literate in English, own an iPhone, and have wireless internet in their home.
